Its aim is to be a source of knowledge, information, support and inspiration for counsellors, psychotherapists, art therapists, coaches, educators, trainees and other professionals who work therapeutically with the arts using a person-centred approach.
Our publication is a forum for critical and reflective thinking, theory, practice, innovation, creativity and research that informs and develops knowledge and understanding of our approach. It is a place where members can connect, share ideas, discuss issues and keep up to date with news and developments in our vibrant creative APCCA community. We encourage submissions from members, non-members, practitioners, researchers, academics and authors.
The journal is published twice a year. If you are an APCCA member, you will have free access to each issue and to the online archive as part of your membership. Non-members can access the journal with a £5 donation to APCCA. Alternatively you can join as an associate member for £35.
The APCCA journal is run solely by volunteers. All proceeds are donated to the APCCA therapeutic art fund.

You will be emailed a link to download a zip file with two versions of the journal, one in magazine format and the other suitable for looking at the journal on a mobile device. We suggest that you download the files to a laptop or similar and then send the phone version to your phone because the zip file is large.
