A short experiential course for anyone who wants to develop their creativity, their self awareness and discover how powerful and therapeutic working with creative arts can be!
On this course you will learn about our approach which is person centred and pluralistic. You will also be able to learn about and develop your own creativity, and develop basic skills to work therapeutically with art in practice.
This is an experiential course with a focus on engaging in creative work, reflection and personal development.
It’s a great way to experience person centred creative arts practice as an introduction to the certificate course.
Students will need to provide:
A book to use as an art journal
Ideally a set of paints | pastels | pencils | paper
COURSE AIMS:
On this course participants will:
Explore creativity and its importance
Learn about the person-centred and pluralistic approach to creative arts practice
Be able to engage with person centred art making
Develop self-awareness
Develop creativity and confidence
The course consists of 10 hours CPD Delivered as 3 online workshops or one full day in person.
Students will need to engage in home study activities of approximately one hour per week.
Participants will receive a CPD certificate of attendance for 10 hours.
