APCCA Training Courses

Do you want to work therapeutically with creative arts?

Working with creative arts is the most amazing way to work! When the person centred approach is brought together with creative arts, the result is a powerful, transformative, and yet gentle therapeutic approach. A pluralistic perspective allows us to draw on a range of concepts to support the process.

We have developed dynamic flexible training courses delivered by experienced trainers with a real passion for our approach.

Our approach and our training has been developed over 30 years and is unique to APCCA.

What is especially exciting this year is that we have updated the course to include new content and theory which is not yet published (due summer 2024). So this January’s group will be accessing material ahead of publication! and will be at the forefront of new developments in the field!

We are very proud that our unique approach was originally developed by Liesl Silverstone in consultation with Carl Rogers in the 1980s. And we are excited to have now developed our model and training to include new concepts and a pluralistic perspective to create a fresh approach for contemporary practice.

Our tutors are practitioners with a genuine passion for the approach and for teaching. You can read more about our tutors here

Our courses are flexible and accessible and delivered mostly online. A central part of our training remains a focus on experiential learning, developing key skills and the unique peer learning and assessment model developed by Liesl Silverstone.
