30covidcloseups challenge
Just after the start of lock-down, I thought it would be a great idea to create a visual representation of our experiences of living in these challenging times.
I found the challenge interesting, but it is only now I can see how amazing it was. I think the images are beautiful and interesting, and the more I reflect the more I can see how they are a real representation of 30 days of my isolation and lock-down.
Each image represents a memory, and I love how I can see my authentic experience, ups and downs and everydayness of life in lock-down depicted. I love the collage so much I’m going to have it framed.
So, if you would like to join in, the challenge is: For 30 days you take one close-up photo of something, anything. It could be something optimistic that catches your eye, or something sad that represents how you feel. The only rule is that it must be in close up, and it must relate to your thoughts and experiences that day.
Then, at the end of 30 days you can collate the shots into a collage. You can post the pictures and collages on social media and tag us, and we will repost and also post some of the collages here on our site.
